What is a commissioned art piece?

A commissioned art piece is a custom work of art created for you based on your idea, concept, photo, reference image, or a combination of elements. For example, if you love the outdoors, we can create an art piece that speaks to you and reminds you of a specific memory or adventure trip. It can be a conversation starter art piece or a whole art wall collection. You can even request a portrait of loved ones or a specific location, such as the tree where you got married, captured forever on an art piece for your new home.

The Process

  • Step 1: Apply

    Complete the application form below and provide a description of the art piece you want, paper/canvas size, and the requested style to be used. You can also upload images or send them via WhatsApp/email.

  • Step 2: Approval

    Once we receive your application form and necessary information, we will consider your art request and let you know if it is something we can create for you.

  • Step 3: Price List

    We will then send you the Price List with size options if you haven't requested a specific art size relevant to the piece you requested, keeping in mind the theme and style you want done.

  • Step 4: Confirmation & Production

    Place your order via WhatsApp +27 839642735 or email, info@marciabauermeister.com.

    Payment needs to be received before paper or canvas can be ordered, art created, photo sent of completed art for your approval, packaged and dispatched.

  • Step 5: Delivery

    Delivery will take 5-7 working days after the completion of art. Please note that a delivery fee will be charged accordingly.

  • Take Note:

    Please keep in mind that if you need framing to be added, frame work time needs 10 working days that work with public holidays or load shedding schedules (you will be notified via email or WhatsApp, whichever communication you prefer). Any orders received not well in advance cannot be guaranteed to be finished in time for handing over art for those special occasions, birthdays or anniversaries, and will be subject to time availability.
